Objectives

10th International Workshop on Biomedical Engineering

5-7 October 2011

DoubleTree by Hilton Resort Kos-Helona

Kos Island, Greece

The workshop is the tenth in a series of workshops, initiated in 1994, which has jointly been organized by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (ΙΕΕΕ), the University of Ioannina, the University of Patras, the National Technical University of Athens and the University of Thessaly

The scientific program of the workshop is based on plenary presentations by the speakers, with some of the allocated time reserved for in-depth discussion. Distinguished scientists from abroad will be invited to participate in the workshop and present topics on their recent work.

The workshop will provide a scientific forum for further development and research and will aim to bring together senior and young scientists to establish new bonds that will bring forward our understanding, and promote technologically successful applications. Greek scientists living and working abroad will also be offered the opportunity to establish or reinforce links with both academia and various research communities in Greece.

This year’s 10th International Workshop on Biomedical Engineering is dedicated to Prof. Yannis Missirlis for his valuable contribution to the field.

10th International Workshop on Biomedical Engineering will be held in parallel with the:
2nd International ICST Conference on Wireless Mobile Communication and Healthcare
