Welcome
The 13th IEEE International Conference on BioInformatics and BioEngineering (IEEE BIBE 2013) marks the continuation of the previous successful IEEE BIBE conferences and aims to provide a common platform for the cross fertilization of ideas, and for shaping knowledge and scientific achievements by bridging disciplines of Bioinformatics and Bioengineering into an interactive and attractive forum. This year IEEE BIBE 2013 will be held on November 10-13, 2013 at Minoa Palace Resort and Spa, Chania, Crete, Greece.
IEEE BIBE 2013 event is sponsored by the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and by Artificial Intelligence Foundation (BAIF). The IEEE EMBS Greece Chapter, the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), the University of Ioannina (UOI), the University of Patras (UOP), the Technical University of Crete (TUC) and the Wright State University (WSU) are co-organizing the event.
Aim & Scope
The overall objective of IEEE BIBE 2013 is to cover a broad spectrum of up-to-date topics of Bioinformatics and Bioengineering by giving the opportunity to scientists from diverse fields and disciplines to participate in the presentation, discussion and evaluation of the latest advances, research challenges, and opportunities that these two important and complementary disciplines bring to modern science.
The conference program will also consist of invited plenary lectures and special sessions. Additionally, on November 12th the 6th IEEE International Symposium on Monitoring and Surveillance Reasearch: HealthCare and Bioinformatics will take place.
Keeping this objective in mind, BIBE solicits original contributions in the following non-exclusive lists of areas.
